Aoi Asada (阿佐田 あおい, Asada Aoi) is one of the selectable characters in the Hachigatsu no Cinderella Nine series. She is a second-year with little in the way of tact or personal space and a talent for detail.

Aoi has curly chin-length light purple hair that has a single hair strand sticking up on her forehead and blue eyes.
Etymology[]
- The name Aoi is written in hiragana (あおい), which has no special meaning. However, when written in kanji (葵 or 碧), it could possibly mean:
- 葵 - "hollyhock, althea".
- 碧 - "green, blue".
- Aoi's surname Asada means "Africa, flatter, fawn upon, corner, nook, recess" (阿) (a), "help, aid" (佐) (sa) and "field, rice paddy" (田) (ta/da).
