The anime adaptation of Hachigatsu no Cinderella Nine by TMS Entertainment aired from April 7 to July 7, 2019. Crunchyroll licensed and streamed the series.
The series later made a rerun schedule titled Hachigatsu no Cinderella Nine Re:fine (八月のシンデレラナイン Re:fine) in which it is the collector's edition included in the Blu-rays, which was brushed up from the original broadcast. A special recap program titled 八月のシンデレラナイン 延長戦 premiered at the end followed by the announcement of a thirteenth episode under production as special content, where the first episode premiered on July 5, 2020.[1]
Following a rebroadcast of the Re:fine rerun (now titled Cinderella Nine in August 2021 (八月のシンデレラナイン 2021)) in July 2, 2021, it is confirmed that the 13th episode (with the special recap program) will premiere in thistimeslot on September 25, 2021.
