Ryo Shinonome (東雲 龍, Shinonome Ryō) is one of the selectable characters in the Hachigatsu no Cinderella Nine series.

An old rival of Tsubasa Arihara who aims to go pro. At first, Ryo rejects the team for being largely inexperienced, claiming that Tsubasa is not taking the game seriously by playing with them instead of players of similar skill.

Ryo is a beautiful girl with butt-length black hair that has bangs swept to the left side with hip-length hair strands hanging on either side and red eyes.
Etymology[]
- The name Ryo means "dragon" (龍).
- Ryo's surname Shinonome means "dawn, daybreak, sunrise, dayspring, aurora, cockcrow" (東雲).
Trivia[]
- In the anime, she primarily plays third base.
